Video Alert: Watch Me Whistle While I Work!

Ever been curious about what goes into making a piece of jewelry? Well, curious-itize no more my friends! I thought I'd share with you all a fun little video I made of myself making one of my signature 'By Heart' Rings from start to finish. So I guess I don't really have much else to say in this post other than, I hope you enjoy my cinematic blog debut :)

Making of the 'By Heart' Ring from Ashley Nizolek on Vimeo.

P.S.- A suer huge thanks to Sarah Daly and Lizzie Mackie for providing the soundtrack to this video :)

Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it because I had a lot of fun making it :) Tried to not make such a standard "how to" video but throw a little fun and personality in there too :)

This is very cute. The music is perfect! I love JAX don't you? So fast and not stinky. You make the cutest stuff, and now I can prove to my Mommy that the dove necklace IS handmade! Thanks for sharing!

P.s. I especially love how you took care of your nails at the end!

LOVE it! I have been thinking about doing a video along the same lines, but am totally camera shy. You did an awesome job Ashley!

Brillient vid, you have a nice bench setup, i have to do everything on my fire hearth as I dont have room for a bench of my own, so my soldered peices are only special commitions.

May your wrist action stay fluid and your fingers strong :p

OMG, LOVED this!!!!!! This was so very cool- I had to watch it REALLY quietly but tonight when I get home I'll watch it with full sound. I totally want to do a video blog like this but am pretty clueless and don't know how I'd edit it and cut from one 'scene' to another like that. Awesome job!

Gah!!! Death by CUTENESS!!! I've been meaning to do a making of video (besides my overdramatized crazy one for Skinny Puppy)... but mine will never be so charming!

This was so cute and original! Plus I love seeing how you make everything. It looks ridiculously time-consuming, but so rewarding! Makes me realize, as a potential customer, how much effort goes into each piece.

Thanks for sharing!!

Absolutely brilliant!
This video is amazing for it's funny moments, it's insight into how you create you're wonderful items, and for sharing your talent and wisdom.

... and it makes me want to buy you're pieces even more! (not that I thought that was possible)

Thank you so much :D
